Important Update: Upcoming Route Renumbering

To help create a more consistent route numbering system across our network, a number of service numbers will be changing over the coming weeks.

Service 16 becomes Service 49

From Monday 22 June, Service 16 between Wethersfield and Chelmsford will be renumbered Service 49.

There are no changes to the route, bus stops or timetable at this time. The service will continue to operate exactly as it does today, with only the service number changing.

Further service number changes from Monday 29 June

From Monday 29 June, the following service number changes will take place:

These changes are part of our ongoing work to simplify and standardise service numbering across the network as we transition to the Central Connect brand.

Passengers should continue to travel as normal, but are encouraged to check for the new service numbers when planning journeys, viewing timetables or waiting at bus stops.
